About Oslo Student Hub
Oslo Student Hub was founded with a mission to strengthen the student community in Oslo and create lasting connections between students and the professional world. After organizing the Career Day in 2024, we saw a clear potential to turn this into something more permanent — a stable platform that companies can rely on year after year, while providing students with meaningful and recurring opportunities.
We aim to close the gap between students and industry by offering events and initiatives that go beyond the traditional once-a-year career fair. Our ambition is to build a stronger student ecosystem in Oslo, one that can rival the well-established community found in cities like Trondheim.
What sets us apart is our background. We come from student associations ourselves, and have both the hands-on experience and the drive to constantly improve. We know what works — and what can work even better.
What we do:
Oslo Student Hub connects students and companies through career days, hackathons, conferences, and other networking opportunities. We hosted our own expo area at SHE Conference 2025, organized Career Day in 2024, and are currently working on both a new Career Day and a hackathon for fall 2025.
Looking ahead, our goal is to establish an annual student conference in Oslo.

Bachelor Project for IT Students: Build Oslo Student Hub’s Internal Email System!
Tired of messy email threads and ready to tackle a real-world problem with your skills? Oslo Student Hub is looking for motivated bachelor students to develop a brand-new communication tool for our organization.
Your task:
Create a custom internal email page that provides a clean, visual overview of communication with our partners. The solution should connect to an email account, display threads in a user-friendly and organized format, and include a simple task status system – such as “Not started,” “In progress,” “Waiting,” and “Completed.”
You will have the freedom to choose the technology stack and design the solution in a way that best addresses the problem. We would prefer a web-based system with a strong focus on usability and efficiency.
